National Program to Globalize Iranian Scientific Journals Launched
The Supreme Council for Science, Research and Technology (ATF) has approved a national plan to index and enhance Iranian scientific journals, launching an initiative aimed at increasing their presence in leading international citation databases.
The program seeks to improve the quality and international visibility of Iranian scientific journals and strengthen their position within the global scientific publishing community. Under the plan, the annual indexing of at least 50 Iranian scientific journals in reputable international databases has been set as a target.
The initiative is also expected to increase the visibility and citation of Iranian research, facilitate international scientific collaboration, and encourage greater participation of international authors and researchers in Iranian journals.
