🎁 **Ministry of Science Issues Guidelines for the Use of AI in Research**
🔹 According to the new guidelines issued by the Ministry of Science, the use of AI tools such as ChatGPT for editing and rewriting, translation, brainstorming, literature review, data analysis, code generation, and improving charts and images is permitted, provided that researchers maintain oversight of the process and verify the accuracy of the final output.
🔹 Under the guidelines, researchers are required to disclose the name of the AI tool, its role, the purpose of its use, and how its output was validated in sections such as the methodology or an AI use statement. If AI-generated output is directly used or cited, the name of the tool, its version, and the date of use must also be reported in accordance with standard citation practices.
🔹 The Ministry of Science emphasizes that using AI to produce an entire research paper, thesis, or dissertation is not permitted. Fabricating data or experimental results, generating fake references and citations, altering scientific texts, and presenting AI-generated content as entirely human-authored work are also considered prohibited uses.
